Hands for Haiti
The Lincoln School Student Council had sold greeting cards at the Lincoln Carnival to benefit The Haiti Children's Home. The cards were designed by Lincoln students in grades K-5.

3rd Grade Lincoln Google Sketch Up Models
A BIG thank you to local architect Mark Klancic and his work with our third graders from Lincoln. The models shown in the video below were created by 3rd graders as a part of the Architecture Adventure Program- Oak Park Educational Foundation. As you will see, they are quite impressive!

5th Graders at Lincoln Making a Difference
Lincoln 5th grade students volunteered at the OPRF Food Pantry and the Greater Chicago Food Depository over winter break. As a result, they helped 216 families who were in need- check out their hard work in the slideshow below.

Israel: The Way We Celebrate Chanukah
From our friends at Ein Ganim School in Petach Tivka, Israel
Sixth grade students from Ein Ganim school in Israel sing in Hebrew to celebrate Hanukkah. The first song: Hanukkah such a lovely day, Boys and gils big and small, dance around and play--It tells how happy everyone is to celebrate the feast of light and the miracle of the jug which had enough oil to last for a day but lasted eight days! The second song tells about the traditions we have for the holiday including the spintop, we eat sweet donuts and potato pancakes to remember the miracle. It is pleasant and good for all on Hanukkah
Did you know that the word Hannukah can be spelled in more than thirty ways and that the word comes from Hebrew?
